The first seven subsea trees for Liza Phase 1 have been delivered to the shorebase in Trinidad. The first tree was loaded out and installed onto a completed well in early April. The remaining trees are staged for loadout and will be mobilized to the field for installation as the Drilling team completes additional wells in the coming months. At Spitzer Industries in Houston, the suction piles, production manifolds, injection manifolds and controls distribution equipment have completed fabrication and are undergoing final readiness for loadout. TechnipFMC (TFMC), Saipem and Spitzer Industries in Houston loaded out these subsea structures to the Saipem transport barge in April. In the second quarter of 2019, Saipem will install all subsea structures at the Liza field offshore Guyana. Learn more about the factory acceptance testing (FAT) on the manifolds in this video.
The extrusion of the main static and main dynamic umbilicals has been completed at the TFMC Channelview facility. Work has now begun on the end terminations and integration for the infield umbilicals, which are scheduled to load out to the Saipem transport vessel in the second quarter.
