Our commitment to Security, Safety, Health and the Environment (SSHE) is the foundation of the Liza Phase 1 project.

Therefore, the Liza Phase 1 Project will:

1. Relentlessly pursue an incident free workplace

2. Never compromise SSHE to achieve other business objectives

3. Communicate and continually reinforce our SSHE expectations to all project stakeholders

4. Focus on SSHE fundamentals to prevent high potential incidents

5. Apply a rigorous approach to hazard management and pre-task planning

6. Create a collaborative culture where people can freely express SSHE concerns, make safe choices, recognize contributions, and take pride in our performance

7. Support the development of a strong SSHE culture in our workforce and in Guyanese enterprises and stakeholders

8. Passionately protect the environment and communities where we operate
