Fabrication and assembly of subsea equipment continues to ramp up around the world to support Liza Phase 2 activities.
In Brazil, assembly of the first two subsea trees has commenced, and structural fabrication of the water-alternating-gas (WAG) manifolds has begun. Design reviews for the smart well trees and subsea control modules (SCMs) took place in June.
On May 16, TechnipFMC (TFMC) conducted a Pulse session onsite at DELP, TFMC’s fabrication contractor located in Belo Horizonte, after the kickoff meeting for the Phase 2 manifolds. Pulse is TFMC’s behavior-based global Health, Safety, Environment and Security culture and engagement program. The session was held with the joint TFMC and DELP team, with the goal of fostering an incident-free working environment.
In Houston, the four production manifold structures have been completed at Spitzer Industries. TechnipFMC also completed delivery of the hubs and valves for the pipeline termination structures to Saipem in June.
